Alan, born and raised in Los Angeles, CA, graduated San Diego State University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science, Business Marketing Degree. The curriculum included Business Law, Real Estate Law, Finance, Appraisal, Advertising, Market Research, International Marketing, Quantitative Analysis and Economics, providing him with a business framework he uses to this day.

Alan broke into the real estate business in 1986 when he worked as a sales agent for the Coldwell Banker Brentwood Office. He sold homes in Brentwood, Bel-Air, Beverly Hills, Santa Monica, Pacific Palisades, Venice, Malibu, Culver City, Mar Vista and Marina del Rey. While he enjoyed making Santa Monica his home and selling in upscale neighborhoods, an environment of ever-increasing traffic, high cost of living and going through a devastating earthquake was weighing on him.

Meanwhile, Alan had always loved Tucson, with its comparatively friendly and relaxed atmosphere and noted it was packed with enough sunshine to make even Southern Californians envious. Eventually, he would migrate to the Old Pueblo in 1995 when he joined Long Realty's Central Office and has been there ever since. He makes his home in Central Tucson, married with 2 daughters and one energetic boxer. His hobbies include travel, yoga, playing basketball, running, photography, and he's an avid fan of the AZ Diamondbacks, AZ Cardinals and UA sports, that is, of course, unless they're playing SDSU!

Alan helped me sell a home and then buy a home a few months later, and I could not imagine a better realtor. He was professional, thorough, communicated well, and helped me  through every step of the process, even when I was out of the country. He also went above and beyond and helped with small details, like making sure everything was smooth  after the purchase and connecting me with contractors when needed. When my aunt was 98 years old, I needed to sell her house. Her neighbor recommended I call Alan Aronoff. She bought her home through Alan and said he was wonderful. From the first phone call he was friendly, personable, and obviously knowledgeable. When I was in Tucson to move my Aunt (I live in Michigan), he was punctual for the walk-through and appraisal. Alan had already prepared a booklet for me showing various houses that had sold recently in the area. It was helpful to review that booklet and all the information in it. He explained everything step-by-step so I would know what to expect. I was so glad that Alan was extremely kind and patient with all my questions. When I returned to Michigan, he kept close contact with me and managed everything from start to finish. The price he negotiated for the house was excellent. I could not have been more pleased with how he handled the whole process. I truly consider Alan a blessing and I am SO GRATEFUL for all he did. He deserves a 10 star rating! Really, he does.
